The peony season has finally taken off here in southern California. A little later than norm due to a cooler season transition from spring to summer. Peonies bloom from April - June. Peonies are the gift that just keeps giving. They start out like little pink velvety balls that transform daily into large blooms of fluffy gorgeousness... I can't resist buying them and I can't resist photographing them especially when they have opened up full bloom.
